I've always been in favour of wooden toys for my children.  For me they say "quality" "durability" "value"  The twins are playing with train sets handed down to them from their big brother and even a few treasured pieces that belonged to daddy.  Whenever there is Christmas or Birthday money, its invariably wooden toys that they want to spend it on.  In these days of computers and electronic games it refreshing indeed to come across a website like The Wooden Toy Shop .  They sell a huge selection of wooden items ranging from baby rattle to outdoor play centres.  Something for every season and to suit every pocket and taste.

WoW!  The Bloom Otto Table and Chair set in Natural.   I could just see the twins sat at this ! I love it, I want it, I need it.  Available from John Lewis its £240 but I think you will agree its a real design classic.

We have nearly finished the twins bedroom.  It has been a labour of love indeed.  On limited funds it has taken quiet a while to put everything together, but if I say so myself I am really pleased with how its looking.  Whilst meandering through Etsy I came across the wonderful  RobinandMould  and I am hoping to be able  to splash out on some of these gorgeous cushions to complete the look.

a stunning Australian online shop (perhaps not really for the little ones ) but I couldn't resist featuring it.  Take a look at the  Airvase totally beautiful and it can't be broken by little darlings running around the house.          Their blog is also something to behold !  The great news is they also ship Worldwide.
